Choose Your Real Christmas Tree Size

Every Hillview Christmas tree is naturally grown, so each one has its own individual shape and character. Heights are approximate.

Small: approximately 1.5–1.8m
Medium: approximately 1.8–2.1m
Large: approximately 2.1–2.4m
Extra Large: approximately 2.4–2.8m when available

For a standard 2.4m ceiling, a Medium tree is generally a great option, allowing room for your tree stand and Christmas topper.

Fresh Real Christmas Trees for Gunnedah

Our Gunnedah Christmas trees aren’t bought in from another grower or wholesaler. They’re grown by us on our family farm near Tamworth and cared for throughout the year.

We aim to have our trees cut within 48 hours of delivery to the collection point, giving them a quick turnaround from paddock to your home.

Each tree is wrapped in protective netting for transport. Once you arrive home, remove the netting and allow the branches some time to relax back into their natural position.

With good care and plenty of water, we recommend enjoying your Hillview Christmas tree for around three weeks at its freshest.

What to Expect From a Real Christmas Tree

Real Christmas trees aren’t manufactured to be perfectly symmetrical — and that’s part of what makes them beautiful.

Some trees are wider, some are narrower and most will have a particularly full side. Simply turn your favourite side toward the room and decorate it to suit your home.

You’ll also get something an artificial tree simply can’t replicate — the natural look and classic fresh pine fragrance of a real Christmas tree.

How to Keep Your Christmas Tree Fresh

When you get your tree home:

• Remove the protective transport netting.
• Make a fresh cut of approximately 2cm from the bottom of the trunk.
• Place the tree immediately into water.
• Check the water level every day and keep the reservoir topped up.
• Keep your tree away from excessive heat, direct sunlight and strong air-conditioning.

Please don’t place your tree directly onto a hot ute tray. Bring a towel, blanket or mat to protect your tree while transporting it home from Gunnedah.
