The Christmas Tree We Wanted for Our Own Family
For us, a real tree has always been part of Christmas. There is something about bringing it into the house, decorating it together and having that beautiful fresh pine smell that an artificial tree simply can't recreate.
Our Christmas trees are grown here on our family farm in the hills near Tamworth. They spend years in the paddock before they're ready — growing, being shaped and cared for through every season.
When Christmas arrives, we cut them fresh and send them out to our collection locations. Brisbane is one of the longest trips our trees make, but we love seeing them end up in homes right across South East Queensland.

These Trees Really Are Grown by Us
Hillview isn't a Christmas tree retailer buying trees in for December. We grow them.
Our trees start here as young seedlings and spend years on the farm before they're ready to leave. We shape them as they grow, keep an eye on them through the seasons and eventually choose the trees that are ready for Christmas.
They're real trees, grown outdoors, so every one has its own shape and character. We think that's part of what makes them special.

We spend most of the year looking at these trees in rows in the paddock. Then December comes around and suddenly they're heading off to be decorated in homes hundreds of kilometres away.
That's the part we love.
